Called. Waited 1/2 an hour, then disconnected. Really?!!
I'm sorry for all you dudes who've waited even longer.

Dave: This "Organization" has no organization.
If I could get 0 stars I would. This "Organization" has no organization. You simply cannot get ahold of anyone on the phone, you cant go in person to their headquarters in salem. (I went and its not open to public anymore). You simply can't do anything anymore. We have even emailed multiple times and no response.
It's merely impossible to renew any certifications or get any communication from staff and I would not be surprised if certain individuals were working unlicensed because of this failure of a "Contractor's Board". Most Oregon State's agency's have been a failure in communication and I hope something changes before this state falls apart like downtown Portland.

Brian: Now my license is suspended
I sent CCB my renewed insurance document a month before it was due. They waited until the day it was due to send me an email saying that I need the insurance company to put them as the holder. You had it for a month! Now my license is suspended and I sent them the corrected document and I haven't heard anything. This is my first year working in Oregon and I'm not impressed with the licensing process.

Raymond weaver: 1 hr wait then it hangs up on me.
I placed 4 phone calls to the ccb. Each time 1 hr wait then it hangs up on me. The 5th call went thru to a voice mail after 50 or so minutes on hold 8 days ago and still no response back.

Shadow Moon: Go build something you lazy agents no one wants you
You know what the difference between a state contractor and a real contractor? One takes honest earned money from someone that worked and saved to have said building and repairs done. Both are in a mutual contact and both want each other there. While the other doesn’t lift a muscle other than a pen. And takes money from the person trying to make an honest living that is being paid by a client that wants their services rendered. What’s even more sad, is the fact that while the “bogus state contractor” interrupts said job. The client has then wait longer for job to be done because someone felt the need to interrupt the honest worker. Who looses? The client, having to pay out more hours for the time that was wasted by the state employee.
Go build something you lazy agents no one wants you. Get a real job you pencil pushers.
